Privacy Policy

Developer: it4music.com  ·  Effective date: May 9, 2026  ·  Applies to all apps published by it4music.com

This Privacy Policy explains how it4music.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information across all mobile and desktop applications we develop and publish (“our apps” or “the app”). By using any of our apps you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Different apps collect different types of data depending on their functionality. Where an app collects data beyond the baseline described here, its App Store listing will indicate this through Apple’s privacy nutrition labels.

1. Information We May Collect

Depending on the features of a specific app, we may collect the following categories of data:

Category Examples When collected
Account data Email address, display name When you register or sign in
User-generated content Tasks, notes, lists, reminders, settings When you create or edit content in the app
Usage data App crash reports, error logs Automatically, if crash reporting is enabled
Device information OS version, device model (for compatibility) Automatically, for technical support purposes only
Payment data Purchase history (not card numbers) For in-app purchases via Apple App Store

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, microphone or camera input, biometric data, or any sensitive personal information unless explicitly stated and requested by a specific app feature you choose to use.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain app functionality.
  • To authenticate you and synchronize your data across your devices.
  • To send notifications you have explicitly enabled (e.g. reminders, alarms).
  • To diagnose and fix technical issues using crash and error data.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

Some of our apps use trusted third-party services to provide core functionality. These services process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Service Provider Purpose Privacy Policy
Firebase Authentication Google LLC User sign-in and account management policies.google.com/privacy
Cloud Firestore Google LLC Cloud storage of user data policies.google.com/privacy
Apple App Store / StoreKit Apple Inc. In-app purchases and subscriptions apple.com/legal/privacy

Not every app uses all of the services listed above. We will update this table as new services are introduced.

We do not integrate any advertising networks, third-party analytics platforms, or social media SDKs into our apps.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data stored in the cloud is protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated users only. We apply the principle of least privilege: no one at it4music.com has routine access to your personal content.

Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device’s built-in security (iOS Keychain, macOS Keychain, etc.).

No security system is perfect. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to support@it4music.com.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data (e.g. crash statistics with no identifying information) may be retained longer for product improvement.

Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days in disaster-recovery systems before being fully purged.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can also do this directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account).
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@it4music.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Notifications

Some apps request permission to send local or push notifications (e.g. reminders and alarms). You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device’s system settings. Revoking notification permission does not affect any other app functionality or your stored data.

8. International Transfers

Our cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud) may store and process data in data centers outside your country of residence, including the United States and the European Union. Google maintains appropriate data transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers. By using our apps, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in these locations.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us immediately at support@it4music.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a request, contact support@it4music.com.

11. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide you with the app’s services.
  • Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and improving our apps.
  • Consent — for optional features such as notifications.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add new apps, features, or third-party services. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you within the app. Continued use of our apps after the updated policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
